PGMA's Latest Directives Sept 29, 2009 2100h (3 days after typhoon Ondoy hit Manila and 25 provinces)

(at 0:49 secs of the video)

And what would happen to the relief goods that aren't addressed to DSWD?

The Philippines is in a state of calamity. (of course this is a common knowledge)

THE PEOPLE NEED THE RELIEF GOODS BADLY - THEY NEED IT NOW.

I quickly shared this video to my contacts in facebook, and mentioned this to several tech-savvy celebrities and politicinas whom I follow in twitter - hoping that the information would spread and the people concerned would do something so that the relief goods that aren't addressed to DSWD would also be included in the tax exemption and would not be confiscated by the Bureau of Customs.

Luckily, Senator Kiko Pangilinan was able to spot my tweet even though he has many followers.

Salamat sir! =)

I find it funny that I'm desperately seeking help for what the President had instructed.

The Filipino internet community has been in an energetic state since the disaster happened.

It seems this "online bayanihan" is driven by compassion and empathy for the victims of the typhoon.

I hope this unity would last until the 2010 elections.

Help victims of storm Ondoy in the Philippines

[2nd update] Red Cross now also accepts donations through paypal, therefore I am editing my old links to redirect everyone to that page, wherein they can donate any amount. =)

Please help our fellow Filipinos.

Send your donations through paypal.

This is just one way to help those in need.

A lot of people have been displaced from their homes because of the epic flood caused by heavy rains brought by storm Ondoy yesterday. (read more)

I am not connected to Red cross or any NGO organizations, but right now, considering that I have the resources of the web, I decided to create this paypal donation link as one of the best ways to help.

Your 1 dollar (50 pesos) would really mean a lot.

Or ask your local government/barangays to know other ways to help.

By the way, if you belong to the oursourcing (working) community, you could send/forward the donation link to your foreign clients/superiors.

Spread the love.

Thank you. Maraming Salamat.

Palace : Time to part ways (Inquirer.net)

Presenting the NGOTSCULAS!

Ngotsculas' version of With or Without You

Ngotsculas members:

EMERALD on drums (kahit keyboard lang ang gamit)

DANNY on bass

ANGELO (vocals)

RYAN on guitar

JHEFF the funny guy/stretching man

God Bless! rock on! ,m/
